Everyone has heard of the Jeff Foxworthy "You might be a redneck if" jokes. Well here is my version of the "You might be a phone tech if...." that I have been collecting for a while. Let's see if we can add to it and have fun.

You might be a phone tech if…..

….. you can’t go to a movie without pointing out what brand and model of phone is on the desk in the background.

….. you hear the number 18 and think yellow/green

….. you hear the word POTS and start trying to figure out the seven digit number.

….. you rate a business based on the type of phone system they have.

….. your wife will not watch a show with you because you don’t quit telling her what phone types they are using.

….. you notice when your favorite shows upgrade their phones.

….. you notice that during the show the ring does not match the phone type.

….. your house has a key system with PA hook up and music on hold.

….. your personal vehicle has a couple of phones in it… Just in case….

….. someone asks you your favorite color and you think blue-orange-green-brown-slate.

….. your garage serves as your parts warehouse.

….. you are of the opinion that if anyone has more than 25 pair of anything it better be a phone cable.

….. you can’t leave home without your snips.

….. you have more UR or UY connectors at home than at work.

….. you can slide down a pole faster than a stripper.

….. you carry a reversible screwdriver in your shirt pocket.

….. you can only name 10 colors.

…..you remember numbers better than names.

I'm a major culprit of this. My girlfriend even points out phone systems now. Poor thing......
